Ok folks. It’s go time. In case you forgot, Applebees is offering a promotion right now where they are selling their delicious margaritas all day long, all throughout the month of July for just $1. Well, I guess this has been a rousing success for the restaurant, because they are giving us a chance to extend this deal for another whole month.
If the Dollaritas Facebook page gets 50,000 likes by the end of the month, then the franchise will extend the offer through the month of August.
As of typing this, they are sitting at 242, so we have a little bit of work to do, people.
Chris Dharod, Chief Operating Officer of Apple Texas Group, a Franchisee of Applebee’s, wants people to know that the Dollarita is indeed a real thing. “Yes, The Dollarita is real, it’s not a joke or a rumor. When we announced the Dollarita we began receiving hundreds of calls a day asking if the $1 margarita was a joke. Not only is this real, but because our Guests love it so much we are launching the ‘Save the Dollarita’ campaign.”
